This may have been asked before, but here it goes. While in the US on a K1 Visa, can I enroll in college? If so, would I be considered an international student?

You can enroll in college, but you cannot apply for federal financial aid to help you pay the college bills, not until you get your green card. You will be considered an international student, which can make the tuition fees much higher. But if you're not worried about finances then it shouldn't be a problem at all.

You might be better off taking classes in community colleges (many of them are cheap and or reasonable at worst) - just make sure they are tranferable to the college you eventually want to go to - this can be very efficient. Many US citizens also do this to make their total cost of college a little cheaper. Good Luck

Thanks for the help!

each state has different requirements for residency requirements check with the school.

most are 1 year in the state no matter where you come from

 That is very important! I fought with my University for a year over my state residency! Makes a BIG difference in tuittion fees, depending on the state and school! And I'm the USC!!!
