Hello VJ's!

I finally got my interview appointment letter a.ka. packet 4.

Yet it stated here: ALL DS-156 FORMS ARE REQUIRED IN AN ELECTRONICALLY COMPLETED FORMAT IN ENGLISH.

I remember sending one (in the packet3) is the same DS-156? does it mean I have to print out another one? or just bring the copies of what I submitted?

Also, here are the few documents I prepared to bring for my interview. Did I miss something? pls tell me.

1. Passport

2. Birth certificate ( 2 copies)

3. Packet 4

4. RCMP/ Police certificates

5. Medical result ( not yet in hand but pretty sure I will take it with me)

6. passport photos(2)

7. I-134

8. Letter of intent

9. certificate of no marriage

10. few photos

11. Engagement ring

12. chosen emails and letters ( the best ones I guess)

13. Expresspost envelope

14. least( lols) my fiance and his charm.

Did I miss anything? please help..........

I just looked through my package 4 and there wasn't a statement about a DS-156 on it.

Usually you receive forms DS-230 Part 1, DS-156, DS-156K and DS-157 with package 3, fill them out and send them back. I didn't use the forms they send me but downloaded them from USCIS and filled them out on the computer (was just easier).

Did you fail to submit one of the DS-156 forms?

Or filled it out by hand and maybe they can't read it all?

I'm just guessing here...

I guess I would send them a quick email with your case number etc and ask what this is about. Most likely they can answer your question (they always answered mine at the consulate) and you will be prepared for the interview.

As for the evidence: I think you have all you need. Take all originals of copies you submitted with the petition. Maybe a boarding pass or two, if you have them. If you paid the visa fee at your bank take the original receipt. You usually won't get any records from the medical, just a receipt as well. The doctor will forward the records to the consulate. Make sure you get a copy of the vaccination sheet from the doctor. It's called DS3025. You will need that later on for AOS.
