I just thought of something. Me and my financee have finally got the lawyer paid and have everything ready to send off to the USCIS, The lawyer should be sending it tomorrow !!!

YEAAAAAAAAA

But now Im very worried about something from 1989 (I had / have defaulted on a Student Loan) There is nothing else bad on my record EVER

Are they going to stop him from coming here because of that

Please any help is very much appreciated !!

Thank you !!

They don't care about credit, bankruptcy, debt etc, etc. As long as, when the time comes, you are above the poverty guidelines or have a qualified cosponsor you should be fine.

They don't really care about your police record unless it's a very very serious crime.

They mainly look at the foreign fiance's police record.

Stay calm, you are fine.

Congrats!
