What I miss the most in Manila and love about the U.S.

Missing:

1. Family and friends of course

2. Green mangoes with bagoong

3. Palabok (no filipino restaurants where i live)

4. I love how I could call my friends at 10 pm and meet them at starbucks by 10.30 pm

5. Cheap movie tickets...I used to watch all new movies....now I just wait for the DVD! kuripot eh!

Loving:

1. Believe it or not....I'm actually considered "average" here. My mom thinks I'm obese now that I've gained 40 pounds hahaha! But not my American friends!!!

2. Hardly any traffic

3. the library (heaven sent!)

4. traveling around the U.S.

I'm sure i'll post more...running late!

9.grilling at home

10.watching a movie on tv and the ability to pause it and even rewind and forward the same, now this feature is awesome!!!

And I want to add what I dont like about America:

Calling the 800 number and have to be on hold forever!!!

I know Claudeth misses her family and the weather. Anything below about 70 and she is cold so I have no idea how your are handling the weather up there Ives.

Claudeth does love the food and has gained about 10 pounds. I can't seem to keep her away from McD's fries

Then you'll have to enjoy the Packers and Giants playing football in about 3 degree F weather Sunday evening. I don't get to watch the fun, but I'm OK with that because I"ll be headed to Manila and some things I miss. My wife, her family, san mig light.

I actually have a video of my husband taking a shower in a Cebu hotel where we forgot to ask if there is hot water, we just needed a hotel near the pier for an early boat ride going to Bohol the following day and oh my, he was jumping up and down. . . it was the funniest thing I've ever seen

I am in Florida so I will be enjoying it on tv. I didnt understand football before I arrived here. I just thought, oh man, what are these men doing hitting each other, hahaha. . but my husband explained and watching the greenbay play to the championship made me understand the game and i love it. . i love both teams, but i hope greenbay wins and make it to the superbowl.
