fifth month !! still waiting

Hi ,We are now entering our FIFTH month of waiting for our approved i-130 to reach the NVC . Apparently it GOT LOST . Just blows my mind the incompetance level at goverment offices , my lawyer has requested that it be expedited ,this was after they allowed themselves the 90 days to find it . Still nothing ,i have called USCIS and NVC and nobody knows anything , all this after 7 years of knock backs and denials , mostly due again to people not looking at my case and using common sense . All thoughts appreciated ,just letting off a bit of steam here !!!

This is sad as so many stories, but your lawyer requested the expedited avenue so step one, have you contacted your congress person for your area and gotten a case worker, have you sent letter to Omsbdman with this issue, or even your Senator?? The key for some people is the political route sometimes it works, sometimes it does not, but dont just contact your party's elected offical, hit both of them, you have not voted yet, they like this as maybe they can get your vote.

Dont give up, but try the above as mentioned, again I am not familiar with your story, but if you have already done the above, then do it again and again.

HI, We are actually in the U.K. ,my wife has sent e-mails to appropriate senators , just gets up my back that i make 2 mistakes 28 years ago and am classed as i dont know what but USCIS and all there f-ups just get brushed under the carpet !!

Here ya wont got into being nosey here, but from my mate I do understand that they look all the way back to 18 yers of age - just a quick question - if you are both in the UK right now, did u ever go the DCF route, just curious but I am thinkng you have done all you can at this point. Tell wife to keep at them, sooner or later and best of luck

HI, started out with dcf ,london sent it california saying wife had not been in u.k. long enough to file dcf . then 2 mths later they change the rules again .
