Does the NVC schedule the interview date or is the date scheduled when the packets are picked up from the consolate?

Also...how much proof of ongoing relationship did everyone send? I have pics,(how many is enough?) my cell phone records, a few emails, but mostly chat logs. Should I include every chat log? Thats daily conversations for almost 8 months! Began printing just the first page for each day and already I have 180 pages of logs and not close to the present time yet! Also read where people included western union receipts, sworn letters from friends and family(including children)having knowledge of the relationship both from the USC and also the SO sides, sworn letters from pastors, place of employment (sworn)stating USC given time off for travel, travel ticket stubs, passport pages showing visiting visas. etc.

Is all of this really necessary? Would like to hear from those who have been to interview..what exactly did they ask for?

Would appreciate any help...Thank so much

God Bless

Good morning,

The embassy schedules the interview date. If your husband can collect his Packages before the embassy mails them he can schedule his appointment then. (personality & mood Dependant)

I can't answer to the rest, but if you go to the Forums about embassies they have lost of great information from people who have experienced it already.

At my husband's K3 interview they really didn't ask for much at all. The CO asked for a few pictures of us together and ones with me and his family, they asked for phone bills, and a few emails. I think it depends on who the CO is. I sent my husband there with everything I could think of pictures as I thought would be reasonable amount, emails from me to him and him to me, yahoo chat logs, phone bills, hotel receipts of when I was there, the receipt to my wedding dress, the receipt of our wedding rings, letters and cards that are in the original envelope that were mailed through snail mail, letters that my mom and best friend wrote on our behalf, a letter from his uncle on our behalf, western union receipts just about everything and anything that I could come up with that had to do with both of us I made him take.

We were lucky that the CO was more interested in what my husband had to say than our evidence. I think you will be fine you have an enourmous piece of proof and that is you actually lived over there with him and lived as a family together that is something most of us don't have a chance to have and it is a BIG BONUS for your case

If you have tons and tons of stuff I suggest just sending a few things of different types of evidence to cover everything and tell your husband just give them what they ask for but don't offer anything.

What you have stated I think is plenty but I believe you can never have too much evidence.

Don't hesitate to PM me as I can't think of everything now if you have more questions.

Good Luck!
