Omg, omg I cant believe it my results were totally clear and no treatment needed, my doctor is going to write to Knightsbridge doctors today to tell her it was totally clear.

I am so happy and relieved. Thanks everyone for caring and supporting me when I was so scared and worried.

I was wondering the same thing. Even though Liam isn't going to be here for a few months I want to get this AOS/EAD/AP stuff ready to go. All I have to say - thank God he'll be living in the same house this immigration round! :)

Before I forget - dBears, you may have already run into my thread where I asked about the TB Skin test. As far as I gathered, it's not required and the xray should be substantial enough.

As for the to I-693 - personally, I am just going to submit the K1 medical records we received and see what happens. I'll go through the civil surgeon stuff if they RFE me for it.

FYI:

I am copying and pasting a post that I found today: "I just had my TB test (just a little ####### under the skin) in addition to blood tests for HIV and Syphillis DESPITE the fact that I had these tests done in London 6 weeks ago! Apparently blood tests are needed if your last test was over 4 weeks ago. My Doctor said this rule was changed at the beginning of April and showed me documentation to prove it."

I'm not sure if a policy has in fact changed but thought I'd give everyone a heads up.. for those of you in here starting the AOS - how did you go about submitting the medical stuff??

We will be having different AOS & EAD filling date, some of us won't be starting it till after a few more months but aren't we supposed to be sharing one thread again in the "Moving Here & Your New Life in America" forum?

It will be nice to be able to keep each other posted on the ups and downs of married life and etc. .. If somebody will start one, pls do reserve a seat for me. I won't be there till first week of September.

Liam: thanks for the info on medical. I hope there won't be more changes come october (we would be filling AOS by mid or late october)

Personally I find it a little insulting to insist on another blood test, often fewer than six months later, for someone who has come here on a fiancé/e or spousal visa. TB, yes. Syphilis or HIV, though?

I agree - now we have to do this twice and spend even more money.

Wow! Looking at the timelines of people from this thread is kinda depressing (for me, but good for you all!). I see filers at the end of January with July POEs.... people getting approved in 2 months. Sounds like youl filed back in the "Good ol' days!"

Hi There

Yes a lot of us were extremely lucky but some took forever, hold on to your faith it will come and once you are together this will all fade to a distant memory.

Good Luck
