you can visit if you want, but make sure you take proof of returning to your own country, like mortgae agrrement or rent book. Lots of people travel to see their loved ones while waiting for the visa.

hello jen, im from davao... yeah, im so glad you guys have found this january filer thread also.. who knows we might just have the same interview sched.. it will be fun to have someone you know at the embassy and also during medical.

Dbears, you're also a Vermont Filer so you'll probably be interviewing by the time I get my NOA2. Like you, I will probably not see my SO until I fly out to Kiev for her interview and to bring her home. But for some reason I still check flights and my checkbook to see if an earlier trip is possible - this separation stuff is for the birds. It is nice to see all the January filers supporting each other - I can't imagine going through all this without being able to talk to people who are going through the same process. I tried to explain the whole process to my father not long ago and he was pissed off at our friends at the USCIS within 15 minutes. People not going through this really don't understand. I appreciate all of you and your efforts. Keep the Faith

CSC is working hard to catch up with VSC.. well, at least last week they were... well, let's just hope those who got approved this week are still too overwhelmed to share the good news. let's wait till they come down to earth again to share their approval story.... approvals do give us hope and encouragement you know.

I'd like to share this post from an october filer:

Each holiday, birthday, or special occasion that goes by now, I keep in mind, is my last without my SO ...

Let's just keep in mind that this is the last valentines that we will be spending away from our SO! Tomorrow holds a lot of promise for all of us.
