Hi Everyone!

I got my 10 year green card last december and I have been a lawful resident since 2005. I heard that I can start my filing N-400 after I get my green card which is now about 10 months before I am being a resident for 3 years. Does anyone know if I can file it now? And how long does it usually take before you file and get your citizenship?

After filing do people have to do anything else for natuaralization?

You can file 90 days before the end of the third year providing you are still married to and living with the USC.

On your green card there is a date that says resident since. 90 days before the 3rd anniversary of that date is the soonest you can file.
