You want to get out without getting a divorce? I dont think thats possible..

I assume since she is new here, it might take her a while to get used to the place...with relationships there can be lot of misunderstandings...talk and communicate..

How long has it been since you guys got married?

Since she holds a 2 yr probation GC, you can withdraw the petition. Goto your local CIS office and talk to an Immigration Officer.

I don't know but I do know a case of a girl hurting herself and bruising herself and claiming being abused. I guess it's who's going to do it first. I guess you should go to the police yourself first and tell them she's threatening you with them and she says she's planning on claiming abuse. Than go to the immigration office and tell them you want to withdraw the petition and that you are being threatened by her. Than go and stay with a friend for a while....hopefully away and give her a deadline to move out. If it is your place announce the police about the deadline you want her to move out. Or just ask for what they would do. Make sure that both, the police and the immigration office know all the issues.

If what you're saying is true...I personally think she should be deported. People like that don't deserve the benefits of living in the US.

If you're trying to "give her time" I think you're a little out of your mind. If you have a rppf of her cheating when what the hell are you waiting for?

PS: If you have proof it would be great in the court and the guy I told you about....got arrested and put in jail because of a......

Oh WOW...I made many mistakes!!!! I hate it when I'm in a hurry while typing in English.

I'm so sorry Thesingh, what can we say? :crying: How could you know that your wife was a cheater? My husband from Andhra feels very bad but he does not know what to advise you. You have to look into your heart what to do. What does she want to do? Does she want to move out or what?

Now she has the 2-year green card, that means the application was accepted and granted, so I don't know how you can withdraw any application. Next application will be to remove conditions in 2 years. As others said, you may need to contact an immigration lawyer to consult. If you get a divorce then she will have to leave to India. If you want to give her more time, it will be painful but maybe you can work it out, I don't know. You two need to communicate and ask each other what is wrong and what needs to be done now. If she just continues to cheat she should move out, maybe later she will realize your worth and return.

You have given everything to help her get the green card, but she shows no respect for you. It is really a miserable situation. Our thoughts and prayers are with you for whatever you decide. (F)
