You can have your medical 2-4 weeks before the schedule. Just bring your appointment letter, 3 pcs 2x2 pictures, payment and a black pen. St. Lukes staff will instruct you what to do if there is something wrong with your medical results.

Once your interview date is set, you'll probably be within 4 weeks. The medical must be at least 1 week before the interview. Once you receive the packet, you need the interview appointment page, or the interview appointment printed out from the embassy page. Do time it so it's not during the period. It's 2 days so plan for that. My wife went for the first day at 12:30 and had no problem getting through. 2nd day was just for immunizations and x-ray.

Once you know your medical/interview schedule, you can have your early medical anytime before the scheduled dates, but make sure it will be at least a week before your interview. It is always recommended to get an early medical exam so you will have ample time if in case they found something wrong with you and you need more lab work-ups or treatment. Also in that way you can schedule it before your monthly period. Medical exam at SLEC is good for 1 year. I had my medical exam done 1 month ahead of my schedule. Good Luck!

It must be paid in pesos, equivilant to $145 based on current exchange rate. My wife's was 6,050 this past Thursday.

just go before you get your period otherwise they'll turn you away. i didn't have time to read this whole thread, but don't go either if you are coughing...makes them paranoid. bring something to read!
