TSC received the I-129F on March 1, 2006. They shipped it to the CSC.

WHY? Why are they doing this?

VisaJourney now shows CSC taking over 120 days while NSC and VSC hardly take a month.

This is insane!

Does anyone have a clue what's happening with the USCIS and why this imbalance?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't know if there is an answer about why CSC is receiving the TCS petitions but it has been going on for quite some time. Maybe Texas is specializing in other processes and doesn't do petitions any more

CSC started receiving I129F petitions from TSC to cut down on some of the backlog at TSC. Remember that the Centers have been handling all kinds of visa petitions, not just I129F's. Also remember that NOA2's that you see here are only posted by VJ members. There are hundreds of others approved that you will never see or hear about.

Now as for Nebraska being fast, well maybe a miracle has happened but i haven't been seeing a month. CSC is averaging 2 and a half to 3 and a half months, Nebraska has been a little slower, and Vermont has been super fast, but seems to be slowing down some. Vermont will also start handling all of certain types of visa applications, so look for them to start slowing down considerably.

Eventually, all I129F petitions will probably be handled from one location, however, what we want (fast processing times) will not happen. It will just be slow for everyone then, but yes, fair for all.

I know the wait is hard, but it's all we have now and just think about the reward at the end!!!
