At work with the flu and we are feeding about 2,200 people lunch today :help:

I promise, I really did try to not to breath on any of the plates

Well we were talking and she asked me how the food was...so i told her ya know Geo cooks and seasons things great so i cant really tell a difference...but that Mcdonalds was better here then in NY...she said joking 'yea they prolly slaughter the camel out back, nice and fresh' and im like well ive been here 6mths and ive only ate camel once and that was just a small bite trying it at a Saudi place we went.................she was quiet for a few mins, and then shes like 'i was joking about the camel, i didnt really think they ate camel there, isnt that like eating your car?'

lol if only they rode camels in the city here, then maybe the traffic wouldnt be so damn scarey lol.

While showing my family pics of his family and city back home, my SIL actually sounded surprised when she looked at one of the pics and said to my husband "Oh! They have cars there!"

I catered my office Christmas party in early December and told my boss that I would love to do it for the experience and that I really didn't care if I got paid and such as long as she paid for the ingredients. Well I cooked for 30 people for $210 in ingredients which is a pretty good deal for my boss. She just walked in and handed me a check for $700 for cooking everything. I almost passed out! Yeehaw!

Happy HUMP Day!!!

First day back at work and it was soooooooooo nice to come in and them all to be happy to see me. I have never been more appreciated than I have been here. LIFE IS GOOD...

The hubster stew is on hold for a while as SOMEONE realized how "off the wall" they had been and tried to make up for it. Lucky too coz I was ready to add the spices and chow down...

Still haven't seen nor heard from Aunt Flo and it has been almost 2 months since she last visited. My doc said that stranger things have happened and that I should take a test to check. She said that just the other day, a woman came in due to lack of visits from her aunt too and her tubes had been tied for 11 years---ba da bing-- preggers... So I will probably be taking a test soon just to rule it out. Aunt Flo will probably show up the day after the results are in.

I hope everybody has a grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat, super fantastical day!!!

Oh Amal wouldn't that be funny???? lol. I hope that happens to me so I can save the $6k I'll have to shell out for the reversal! I knew someone it happened to but it happened immediately after she'd had it done. I have heard though that the longer time there is afterwards the more your chances go up.

So I went to my Rheumy guy today. Speaking of humpday apparently I have scoliosis. Who knew? Never caught it in school when they made you bend over. Oh well. I also have apparently been having fits of pleurisy so I'm going for a chest x ray and full blood workup on Friday and then he'll relook at my medications. He was talking about plaquenil but I have no clue what that is all about. I have this huge rash on my chest and my face. Happy happy joy joy!!!

My congressman's office called me today to tell me "the good news". I got all excited and then she says " you're in administrative processing!!!". Uh...duh.....she already sent me the email telling me that that is what she found out last week. Apparently she forgot. And why are we happy about this anyways? UGH. She said, "just shows that you're right where you're supposed to be" and then she went on to tell me how understaffed they are and that normal time going through Cairo is about 8 months so in 60 days if nothing happens she's going to call again. Whoopdee do.

Husband was supposed to get the computer yesterday but the migraine hit so he's fine now but still no computer. My guess is he'll take a week to get it. What's up with being so slow??? When I want something I get it that second. He's calling people left and right, asking motherboard questions, blah blah blah. I told him he'd best not look forward to going with me when I shop since I'm leaving him at HOME! lol
