Timeline

Sister in law just found out today that her husband of 10 yrs has left and went back to mexico leaving her and 3 children here in U S . Children were born here but sister in - law and my wife were brought to U S as children without inspection. what can she do?? ( if anything) any ideas?? am in process for my wife and will help anyway i can but she doesnt have many options . ( no family in mexico any more) any help would be greatly appreciated..

Short of finding her a new husband, I am not sure what can be done. I think this is probably best left up to a good lawyer.

You may want to consult one anyway, as I believe even your wife's situation will require waivers to be filed.

I wonder if this might fall under abandonement. same as domestic violence???? as far as my wifes situation I have already finished the 601 waiver packet and have everything ready for cdj . just waiting for nvc to finish.
