1-0 for Pitts nearing the end of the 1st period. Snowing away!! At the 10 min mark they had to stop the game and zamboni the ice,lol 73000 in the stands. Temp outside is around -1C.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

If the weather gets any worse, they're going to start playing football. :lol: I love the throwback uniforms. Any minute now I expect Gilbert Perrault to step on the ice. :lol:

I was hoping Dany Sabourin would start for the penguins, he is fitted with the old retro-looking goalie pads and gloves (tanned leather look)

Maybe the Leafs should change theirs to a powder blue or a light pink,lol Maybe that would force them to play tougher!@!

It's not so bad. I played football and our school colours were the same as the old Tampa Bay Bucs uniforms. A whole bunch of guys who look like oversized creamsicles, imagine that! :lol:

It is funny though, it looks so - nice really. Need more nice in the world!

God help us all. :lol:

I don't watch the Leafs much and I rarely watch any other teams. It is kind of nice to watch a game played outside though.

*looks longingly at Miller and Conklin and wonders what they'd look like in Leafs jerseys*

Crosby scores on the shootout. Pens win. Good game. Bro' isn't thrilled Sabres lost but it was entertaining. Why did the Sabres change their jerseys, I still like the old ones.

Ya was a good game. I'm sure they will do it again. The NHL stated they want to do it again, but haven't stated if it will be an annual event.
