Ok I am gonna make a checklist for the interview to see if there is anything that I have forgotten or anyone can suggest. Me and my fiance' are both in Denmark right now and I am going with him to the interview so we are just trying to make sure we have everything!

Ok here is my checklist:

Copy of I-129 F Pack

2 copies of DS-156, DS-156 K, DS-157, DS-230 I + II

Passports

Birth certificate orginal and copy

Military records orginal and copy

Police Record orginal and copy

Medical exam paperwork copies (just for good measure)

I-134 Joint sponsor with: 3 years tax transcripts, Letter from Work, Pay stubs copies and orginals, letter from bank (bank goofed info so I had to retype) But I have all the orginal bank statements to back up the retyped letter, Notarized and signed I-134

My I-134 since I am unemployed I am bringing just the bank letter, last 3 years of tax transcripts and a IRS FAQ page to show why I did not file taxes last year, Notarized and signed I-134

Photographs, Phone Bills, Plane tickets

Receipt to show payment to embassy

Evidence that fiance' stayed in the USA only the ammount of time he was allowed.

Fiance' Letter of intent

I hope I didn't forget anything.

Also how early should we get to the embassy?

You mention Fiance' Letter of intent.

I am sure you mean you BOTH have a letter of intent ? you both need to write one again

I personally would arrive an hr before your scheduled time, this gives you time to get things in order, and say a prayer or two

GOOD LUCK !!

Good luck for a successful interview. Don't forget to post your experience afterwards.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!!

Double check all the forms online for the latest versions. This is important because my fiance did this, but he met some girls at the embassy who relied on the packet that the embassy sent, and the forms were not accepted. Also, make sure you have 4 letters of intent in all, your original included with the first packet, his original included with the first packet, and updated one with a recent date from both you and from he.

If you can not find the forms online, then use what you have.

Good Luck!

Marie Boothe & Dermot O'Mahony

January 2005: Met in Church

March 2006: Dermot's first visit to the AZ desert!

June 2006: I'm back in Ireland

23 July 2006: Engaged!

2 August: Back in Arizona without Dermot

15 August: NOA1 receipt in mail

4 October: wishing and hoping

12 October: visit to Ireland and my fiance

16 October: touched! someone did something

with our case! no change in status though.

2 November: NOA2!!!

1 February: Dermot is back in the good old USA

10 March: Married at last! - no more goodbyes

31 March: AOS mailed

3 May: I-485, Request for Initial Evidence recieved.

20 May: RIE mailed
