can you communicate with the embassy via email? if you can, email them and maybe you'll here from them. i don't know anything about your particular embassy, but bangkok's embassy (which we use) is good at replying to their emails. also, i know (at least with bangkok's embassy) that you can show up to the interview without the appointment letter included in packet 4 (sometimes they are lost, etc.).

anwyay ... if i were you, ... yes! get to your interview!!!

hope someone else can help you with more embassy specific information.

btw ... we're in austin too.

cheers and good luck

Now, this is for Jamaica..........Andre's packet 4 contained only his interview date/time information and the specifics for what he needed to get and bring to the interview: non-impediment, police record, birth certificate, passport, and medical results.

Look up your embassy specific information somewhere on this site. This is where I found all my information before we ever got packet 4. We really never needed that packet.

And, yes, go to the interview, no matter what. Worse case, you will get a slip and another appointment for the missing stuff.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Agreeing with everyone else posting...go to that interview! In Canada, the package "4", is only a one page piece of paper confirming the interivew date and time. Hopefully you've heard from, or found out from your embassy what was in it.

Best of luck at your interview!
