Hi all - this is my second post to the forum, but my hubby and I have been following for a few months.

Here is our timeline for the 751:

Filed 3/13/07 (at NSC)

NOA 3/27/07

Biometrics 4/17/07

Notice of transfer from NSC to CSC 3/27/08

Request for Evidence 4/14/08

Could someone please add us to the list?

Yesterday I called the USCIS after receiving the RFE on monday. Shockingly, I actually got an immigration officer on the phone instead of another useless customer service rep. Even more shocking she was kind and helpful. She told me that our evidence that was sent with or initial filing was lost in the transfer from NSC to CSC. And it wasn't until they were going through the steps to actually put the card through for production that they discovered they don't have anything. When I asked her what sort of delay we should expect she said currently things have been getting processed 2 weeks to 30 days after they receiving the new evidence. I pressed for more information since we are trying to decide whether to make the 4 hour drive to our local field office to get a stamp in the hub's passport. She then told me that we shouldn't have to do that because they will automatically send out another letter for another year of extension if the case hasn't been processed yet. I actually laughed out loud when she said this (couldn't help myself). I told her that I have not heard of ANYONE being sent a second letter of extension, and that EVERYONE I have heard about has had to get their passport stamped. She paused and said "Well, that doesn't make us look very good, does it."

Thanks for sharing that information. I actually received a RFE letter today in the mail box with a different LIN receipt number. I would be shocked if I hadn't read your and others' posting about RFE here. So it is time for me to put together a package again. Sigh...

Sorry to hear that, but it usually doesn't take long to get the approval once you reply to the RFE. Good Luck...!!!

BTW, quick question, is the online status changed to reflect the RFE?

Just spent all evening photocopying everything all over again. No, the online status didn't change at all.

4-17-2007: Biometrics Appointment and TOUCHED :)

5-02-2007: Greencard expires

Dec 2007: Received extention until Dec 2008

5-09-2008: Card production ordered!! FINALLY!!!

Naturalization!!!!

Finally getting around to N-400... Filed under 5 years of PR status

5-11-2010: Sent out N-400 - Phoenix, AZ Lockbox

5-13-2010: Received at Lockbox

5-25-2010: Checks Cashed :)

5-28-2010: NOA received but case number doesn't work

6-04-2010: Case number works online and says RFE sent 6-2-10

My guess would be that your I-751 is already with your naturalization papers, and that you will be processed for the latter, not the former.

4/01/08 Case transferred - to an unspecified "USCIS office" (e-mail)

4/12/08 Letter - transferred to CSC on 3/27/2008. (typo in name)

4/22/08 Current Status: Card production ordered

4/25/08 Current Status: Approval notice sent; letter from Senator's office - expect 30-60 day wait for USCIS response!

congratulations!!

Quick question for the ones that got approved do you guys see that when you enter yor case number and check it online, i know you received emails but i was wondering if you see the approval when you only enter your case number online and hit search

Welcome to the One Year Club, Frances!

Thank you....I think.... :unsure:

Our day will come... *sigh*. The most positive thing I can say is that I'm real glad we didn't fart around with the paperwork. We filed as soon as the window was open, so the one-year extension won't run out until June 30th.

Yes.. the status online has changed as well.

Same here. When I check my status online, it indicates that the card production has been ordered.
