Barry had his interview this morning and was approved! His appointment was for 8:30 and by 4:45 he was calling me with the news. They only asked for his police certificate, birth certificate, and I-134, they looked at pay stubs and letter from employer which they returned...that's it.

It is always heartwarming to read such happy stories! Congratulations!

I went through the whole process a few years ago when I moved to the US. I remember vividly the uncertainty of wading through what felt like tons of paperwork. I was thrilled when I became a citizen two years ago and my relationship with the BCINS came to an end.

To those of you going through the process, no matter where in the world you are, I wish you well. These are extraordinary measures to be with that special person, which makes the relationship/marriage all the more special.

It's not so much the miles we have travelled as the journey we have taken.

Charles and Sonya posted an embassy review and in that they said that they had been approved!

I hope it's not too cheeky of me to check the embassy review pages for approvals...I just thought it better than seeing all those question marks by people's names!

Yes, thats me!! Took a few days for the visa to come through as it was subject to medical and finger prints but arrived this morning. Didn't get a text from the couriers - they just turned up at 8am! Charles
