Hello Missy,

I know I have to send my husband items prior to his interview. Pictures, Cards, proof of communication such as emails, text messages, phone records, or instant messages. The needed items for the interview will be listed in Packet 3 or 4.

If you visit the link I have provided it will give you experiences at the Lago embassy. Nigerian Embassy

Is she going to the interview too? If you are not attending the interview, then you urgently need to get the evidence to your SO quickly so he'll have time to go through your evidence. I believe your time-line states that the interview is Jan. 8th. Please take into consideration too the holidays and the mail service being slower this time of year.

Best Wishes

Thanks guys....Can you just imagine that Nigeria has a three day holiday next week? I used DHL to ship the documents on Wednesday and they are guaranteeing a delivery date of 1/4. That is cutting it really close. I asked them to hold the documents there for pick-up. I can't believe this drama is happening to me!:angry::wacko:

Hello Akinstacy,

I was just viewing my fiance's portal and I read your mail. Actually we called NVC to confirmed that the application is been sent to the consulate in Nigeria,we allowed three working days for it to arrive. Then my fiance forwarded me a copy of the NVC letter and the NOA2 (Approval Notice Letter) which I presented at the consulate for the interview date. Tell your husband to be polite and ask for any earliest possible date and he will get it. Coz that's what i did!!!!!

Hope I answered your question.

Thank you so much. I've already forwarded him the NOA2 letter and I am gonna scan and send the letter from NVC. I'm thinking that Nigeria must have it by now becuase the NVC said that they sent it to 9gia on the 19th of December. He will go on Thursday to try to get the interview appointment. Good luck at your own. I'm dying to know how it goes!!!

Constance,

Thank you for the well wishes! Happy New Year!

I spend $322 using DHL. I recommend them because they are absolutely the best! They told me four business days and they did it in two. They saved me a lot of trouble. Also, you can check the package as it travels along there. A word of advice,

Send him your tax transcripts. I wish that I knew about that in advance. It superceeds some unneccessary worries that you may encounter with the affidavit of support. PM me and I will fill you in.

Good Luck,

Missy
