Do I need 3 years tax return?

Thanks for all the response for my previous question. I have one more ..I just start working last year of January, but I met above the 125 % poverty line. Do I need 3 years tax return or 1 year tax return is enough as long as I met the poverty line? Thanks and have a wondeful holiday!

The requirement is for the current tax return which once it's filed next year would be 2007. You should also have the W-2 or 1099 forms, recent pay stubs and if possible a letter from your employer.

I was only asked for the latest ITR during my interview but I brought 3 years with me. Good luck and happy holidays!

latest itr is the most important one but having a previous yr itr is a plus too... my husband only gave me 2 itr's (2005, 2004) so thats what i only have back then. but the interview went great as long as the docs are complete and it pass the poverty line (with or without co-sponsor)... good luck!

Thanks for all the responses, but miss spidergirl, I don't have any previous tax return. This year is my 1st job here in the US..I think, 1 year tax return is enough as long i met the poverty line or over. Thanks anyway!Good luck y'all and merry christmas!
