I noticed that there is a question on the DS-156 asking "Have you ever been afflicted with a communicable disease of public health significance"

My fiance had TB about 9 years ago, should I answer yes? And if I do answer yes, is that going to create any problems with our application?

personal timeline

March 2006: met Astrit while in Denmark

April2006: back home

June 2006: went to Albania together

July 2006: Back home

Sept 2006: back to Denmark on an extended vacation

Oct 2006: engaged!

March 2007: back home

June 2007: back to Denmark for a quicky

July 23, 2007: Sent I-129F

Aug 02, 2007: NOA1 Hard copy

Sept 2007: Back to Denmark for another extended vacation!

Dec 10, 2007: NOA2 hard copy!!!!

I do believe you may need a waiver for that. Googling doesn't get me much more information on it. Perhaps you'll want to ask this question in the waivers forum.

if it's cured and not a problem anymore it shouldn't be a problem

so i would probably say yes with the proof it had been cured
