It's my first day back at work since I flew back in from the UK on Saturday. I'm still on UK time though. I wake up around 2-3 in the morning. Ahhh. Got to work and found out my desk was moved while I was gone. That's always fun. Other than that, just another rainy day in CA.

Jen-- I posted the recipe in sultan's kitchen... I don't want to use the person's pictures becauxse I didn't ask her and it's a private forum... but... I hope that gives you the idea. it's a puff pastry.

Oh and Happy Eid! Apparently it's Eid in Egypt since my husband just texted me "happy Eid".

We are now in Eid as we just had the last prayer for the day. Wael went out earlier and told me he was happy I wasn't with him coz the streets were RED ...

This is what i fear most. Here Eid is Friday. I went to Layoune with Omar and his brother to get the sheep. I shopped at the souk while they did the sheep thing as I prefer to buy things.

Thanks to whomever posted about the hamams awhile back. Saved me lots of shock and embarassment. Omar asked his sister to take me to one place with private rooms and she said the work hamam and i said uh uh no way no hamam!!!!!

Christmas is Jan 7 for us as well. I get to celebrate my birthday this week, my Christmas next week, and then New Year's and Coptic Christmas in January.

I just wish each day came with presents.

I love Office Space! Especially the red stapler.

My beautiful Princessa is home from the vet. She does not have lukemia, all her blood work looks good. She has an expensive bowel movement coming compliments of a goey spoon of stuff I had to give her by smearing it on the roof of her mouth. When I left for work, she was happily purring in the sun. Ah the joy of being a pet owner. The vet thinks it is hairballs. Next, I have to schedule her butt shave.

you're finding out how expensive pets are! I think my parents have spent more money on our pugs than they did on my brother and myself growing up.

Our family vet has an insurance wellness plan, where an owner can pay a set fee every month for huge discounts. We pay for Molly's medical care like that. Now, my kitty is signed up. She had over $400 of tests and medicine today and it only cost me $157. So for $16.95 a month, I will never pay an office visit, and discounts on future stuff. Also a discount at the groomer for those butt shaves.

Hmmm, this kitty could be cutting into my latte fund.
