Need help to understand this lawyer

Timeline

I am about to file the I-130 for my wife she is overseas, i asked the lwayer about the documents i am gonna need,

just to test his knowledge, he mentioned all the documents, except the evidence of the bonafide he said i don't need them right know, wait until the uscis ask you for that. but as i read the I-130 instructions i see that must be provided with the rest of the documents. i am confused, i don't know if i have to trust this lawyer.

That's why i turned to this forum to get some extra help and guidance.

Timeline

All you really need is a copy of your marriage certificate along with the translation if it's not in English, and maybe a few affidavits of people who ca say you have a bonafide marriage. No need for anything else, including pictures and all that stuff, leave that for interview day.

10/02/07 - POE

Removing Conditions

07/06/09 - I-751 sent to CSC

08/14/09 - Biometrics

09/27/09 - Approved

10/01/09 - Received 10 year green card

U.S. Citizenship

03/30/11 - N-400 sent via Priority Mail w/ delivery confirmation

05/12/11 - Biometrics

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview
