Hi Everyone...

Today I called the NVC, and learned that our ds-230 has been generated on April 17th !

Fantastic news, as I am hoping to wrap this all up by summer's end and have my husband with us home at last.

I used James' shortcuts...

1. Graham filled out part I weeks ago, scanned it and sent it to me via e-mail.

2. I have generated the bar code and made the cover sheet.

3. I also have a copy of his passport scanned and e-mailed to me as well.

Ideally, I'd like to send this sucker off tomorrow morning and be done, but would like to know if there's anything else I need to send it off with besides the cover page, part I and his biographic data page from his passport.

Looking at Part I, there seems to be a little box at the top left-should anything such as a barcode be put in there as well?

Also, is there anything else that is to be sent along with it?

Perhaps I am being paranoid here, but better to be safe than to be sorry.

You already have everything for ds 230 Pakage, here is a list for CR1:

1、 Barcode cover sheet

2、 DS-230 Part I

3、 Packet 3 Supplemental Information Sheet

4、 Passport copy

Plz remeber write case number on the right top with dark ink on every page.

30/03/2006 - NVC case number assigned

03/04/2006 - DS-3032 & AOS 70$ bill generated

06/04/2006 - E-mail Choice of agency

07/04/2006 - Pay AOS 70$ Bill

10/04/2006 - Received AOS 70$ Bill and DS-3032

13/04/2006 - NVC accepted both AOS 70$ & DS-3032

17/04/2006 - 380$ IV bill & I-864 generated

24/04/2006 - Received CR2's 380$ IV bill

25/04/2006 - Mailed I-864 & Received CR1's 380$ IV bill

26/04/2006 - Pay 380$ IV bill (Be cashed on 8th May)

15/05/2006 - DS-230 send out from NVC( Received on 20 May)

17/05/2006 - Mailed DS-230 to NVC£¨Called on 24th night said 864 is fine 230 got there 2 days ago needs review£©

06/06/2006 - NVC completed the case

DHL Timeline ( 46 +9 =55 days )

15/06/2006 - Case send to GZ (Hoped in 1-2 weeks, and it really did in 1.5 week)

28/07/2006 - Clearance processing complete.

31/07/2006 - Shipment delivered Signed by STAMP

GUZ consulate Timeline ( 385 days from filing)

1/11/2006 - Interview--BLUE

Never heard of that either, esp. since the NVC does not technically send out package 3 (unlike consulates abroad).

I think your list looks fine; but why don't you doublecheck with the description in James' shortcuts and the filing instructions on the NVC-website

Hey Rose!! I'm soo happy that they generated the DS230--that's fantastic!!! So your Affidavit is in and your DS230 is going in this week---that's wonderful!! You case will be complete real soon!!!! That's soooo exciting!!! :dance:

I-130 filed April 2005

I-130 approved February 17, 2006 (after alot of drama)

NVC

February 28th: NVC assigned case#

March 6th: NVC generated AOS Fee Bill & DS-3032

March 18th: Received March 6th documents

March 20th:Paid AOS Fee Bill

March 22nd: Husband mailed DS-3032 via DHL

March 24th: Acknowledged receipt of DS-3032

April 5th: Received 1-864 Packet in the mail

April 8th: I mailed the I-864 overnight via USPS

April 10th: USPS confirmed delivery

April 11th: NVC confirmed receipt of I-864

April 19th: Review of Affidavit complete

Apri 28th: NVC acknowledged receipt of IV Fee(I found this out on May 1st) (Thank God!!)

May 1st: DS-230 & Instruction Packet Generated (We're sooo relieved!!)

April 3rd: NVC Generated IV Fee Bill

April 21st: NVC re-sent IV Fee Bill

(Saturday) April 22nd: Received IV Bill that was generated on April 3rd.

April 24th: Mailed IV bill (overnight)

May 4th-Returned DS-230 via "Checklist" Request

May 17th-CASE COMPLETE (THANK U JESUS!!!)
