November approvals waiting for NVC

This from my congressman's office this morning (my case approved 11/29). They have committed to following up on this:

I received an email response this morning from the California Service Center. The case was approved on 11/29/07. The file will be shipped to NVC within the next week. The case cannot be processed at NVC without the physical file. I will check back to see if the file has been sent.

Hey there. Your approved petitions should be received by NVC very soon! I called today and they said they received our I-129F yesterday (12/10/07). Ours was approved on 11/15/07. Almost a month for them to receive it, but thank GOD they have!! Hang in there!!!

They ship the actual paper petition and evidence submitted from the USCIS service center to NVC. NVC then sends the paper petition and evidence submitted to the embassy/consulate.

Hey there. Your approved petitions should be received by NVC very soon! I called today and they said they received our I-129F yesterday (12/10/07). Ours was approved on 11/15/07. Almost a month for them to receive it, but thank GOD they have!! Hang in there!!!

Our applications were approved on 11/20/07. I hope our applications were with the truck load that was sent. So, probably by end of this week we should have our NVC number. Did NVC give you your case number or email you a confirmation letter?

Our case was approved both I-130 and I-129f on Nov. 30. I got touches for both I-130 and I-129f after approval on Dec 02. I checked my portfolio just now and found out that I got a touch for my I-129f again on Dec .13., but my I-130 was left untouched. I remember I made a call 2 days ago Dec 12 using the rfe line but she didin't give me any information about the I-129f case because I'm not the petitioner. I'm just wondering if this touch is made because of my call even though she didn't give me information. , or the touch could mean, they already forward my I-129f to nvc/ What do you think? if this is the case, what will happen to my I-130? Anyone who experience the same?

It could be a touch for any reason. There are quite a few people on here who receive this mystery "extra" touch and I don't think anyone has ever found the exact reason behind it. It might be because of your phone call, it could be the petitions last scan before it goes in a crate, it could be a scan as your I129F is separated from the I130... we probably will never find out.

Either way, you're not the first one to have this extra touch and it's nothing to worry about because you have your approvals

Done = approval (laughing) and NO it hasn't shown up at the NVC dammit. I noticed tho that NVC is processing late November approvals.
