My fiance had hired a lawyer for our visa processing. For the question " Has your fiancee ever been to US?", YES is marked which is wrong. I had never been to US before. We got our NOA2 three weeks bk. I got my packet3 also. Is there anything I could do now? :( My interview date is also scheduled.

I dont think you should be worried about the mistake on your I-129F info. Believe me, if you had visited the US before, they already know. If it comes up during the interview, just tell them it was a mistake by an overzealous lawyer. Goodluck. :)

Thanks to all for yr consoling answers.

However I make up my mind this won't be an issue during the interview, I'm having nightmares of my visa being rejected b'cos of this. Also what if they ask us to start over the process again. Can we call the USCIS and get help from them reg. this?

I'm restless. :(

Tell them about the mistake when interviewed.

Common wisdom is to not volunteer information at the interview. If the consulate has spotted the discrepancy, they will either ask about it or ignore it. If they ask, answer honestly. If they don't ask, don't bring it up.

This is a *very* minor error. You really shouldn't be worrying about such a small mistake. People are not rejected for what amounts to a typographic error. They will not ask you to start the process over again. At the very worst they'll ask you to submit a correction in writing.

Your petition is no longer with USCIS. They have already approved you.

Take some deep breaths and relax. You are almost home.
