Hello guys and ladies. good morning.

well we had our interview yesterday morning. and went so smooth, and everything was just fine and in order. well the interviewer was so serious and seem dont like to smile lol, well he asked so many questions Yes or No. and he ask us our passports and he took I94 out of my passport without to stamp it. and he ask if my family approved her (my wife) and he ask me if there's any pics for her with my family so i showed to him and then he ask me pics for her family i do have 1 for her family but i am not with them so he ask me dont u have 1 for u with them ? i said no sorry because they always busy , and then he said to my wife can u write down his family name i mean the ones on the pic. so she did and then he said when did u got married ? so we answerd and then he back looked at the files and he ask my wife if she was married before so she said yes i was and he asked her her divoce paper and for sure this is the silly thing i did i forget them in the house, so he said i need them u going to bring them !! and then he said do u have any evidence want to show me so i have box with me and lil suitcase full of evidance lol, well he said do u have copy of this pic. the one with my family i said no sorry he said i am going to make a copy and i will be back. so he did. and then my wife asked him if he wanna look at the pics he said no this is enoughand then back asking us if we have pics for us here in San Diego . i said yes we do. but he dont want to see them <maybe just to make sure> and then he said what else do u have want to show me, so i have everything ready i showed him bank statments and Credit cards and Debit cards they are same number. so he took them and make a copies, and i took 2 letters 1 from my neighbor and 1 from my wife friend she wrote a letter too. so he read them all and he kept them there. and he asked me certificate of marriage in my language (ARABIC) so i gave it to him and then he said the policy of the interview that we have to do 2 things. 1- fingerprint. and i see it here in the file 2- name check. and he gave me a paper says there.. Security checks pertinent to your case are still pending. ect.. i dont know if all of us should to have it !!!! did u get it guys??

well and after that he said u go outside so i did i went out side and he start talking to my wife. he just wanna make sure that everything doing ok. he asked her if she sure that she wanna give me the green card, and my wife said sure i am sure he's my husband, and he said yeah but we hear everday so many people using each other for this thing i mean to get the green card and to run lol. it's Funny.

and she said yes i know and i love my husband . he said ok no problem i just want to warn you. and he said seem everything in order here just get what i ask u to get ..

and that was it.

i am just confuse about the paper i got about the name check !!!

Not a bad interview. I was surprised they separated you to ask your wife some questions but the outcome of that seems to be good.

It sounds like you are in namecheck. There is no telling how long you will have to wait for this.

Here is the namecheck thread.

Sand,

The paper referring to name check means - the FBI is now charged with completing some form of background check, pending their review the Green Card is 'pending.' Name checks can take weeks or even years - no one really can say how long yours will take...

The CO asked you a lot of questions, maybe he was just having a bad day!

Hope your name check is over soon, then you will get the green card. Did you file for EAD too? At least you can work in the meantime, if you have that.
