CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE

DA,

After ten months, my K-1 visa came at the weekend! It's printed in my passport looking all nice and shiny and ready to be presented at JFK in mid-October.

However, on the previous page (page 5), I have another copy of the print with a big stamp through it saying 'CANCELLED WITHOUT PREJUDICE'.

It looks to me that they might have made a mistake when printing the first visa and cancelled it and reprinted it on page 7.

I shouldn't worry about this, should I? I've sent an Email to the US Embassy asking for confirmation that there isn't a problem and an Immigration Officer won't turn me back if he/she sees 'CANCELLED' in my passport.

Anyone else had any experience of this?

sounds starnge. never heard of it. you should go persoanly and talk to the embassy about it. bcz you dont want to take a risk of being stopped at POE on this thing. so better go or talk on ph instead of sending an e-mail.

If they canceled one stamp and put another in there then you have nothing to worry about.... many people have cancelled visas in their passport when they have been issed with a new or diffrent visa...
