I called the USCIS number 800-375-5283 for the enth time since we filed our K-1 and I got the absolute rudest rep. I was expecting a long hold time and a generally canned message, but this woman was a witch! After I had enough of her smack I asked for her supervisor and I was disconnected! What the f**k??? Does anyone know how to get ahold of a supervisor at USCIS, CSC, or anywhere? Maybe an email address? Any contact info is greatly appreciated. I just cant believe after all the garbage they are already putting us through, now to be hung up on. Argghh! Whiskey please!

You don't call or e-mail anyone at USCIS - it's not worth the time spent on doing it. They won't tell you anything different from what you get online and they'll give you canned responses. Sorry. Contact your congressmen/senators instead and ask them for an inquiry on your behalf.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Mew, I know you've probably posted the link before, but any chance you have the link to the official inquiry needed to be filled out when contacting our local congressman?

Also...I was planning on calling them again on the 3rd of September, after 30 days has passed since I have not received my IMBRA RFE. I'm close approaching 80 days without even the IMBRA RFE - do you think it's a good idea for me to ask my congressman for an inquiry?

If you feel you were mistreated by an immigration employee, or wish to make a complaint of misconduct by an immigration employee, you may write to the Office Director, or write directly to the

Director, Office of Internal Audit

425 Eye Street, NW

Room 3260

Washington, DC 20536

I found it on my District Offices webpage on the USCIS website, dig around on there you might find another address. The USCIS Ombudsman is a good one to send it to as well.

Your congressman's website should have a section for constituent services. Download the privacy form, fill it out, add your case details, ask them to make an inquiry regarding your RFE and fax to their office. I would call to follow up and to find out who is assigned to your case, along with their direct phone number and email address. Good luck.

This is probably why they don't take calls or emails...because they know the volume of complaints about petitions and applications would go through the roof and no work would be done on the actual cases. Yeah, I'm sure we'd all like to complain. However, I'd much rather they actually work on the cases than deal with complaints, yanno what I mean?
