Ok, What now? We have our noa2, I have all the copies of everything together ready to send my babeh.. I have the I-134, and all supporting docs... also everything she will require at the interview together to send. All I need is the NOA 2 in the mail and ill make a copy add it to my papers here, and package it together to send my babeh.

But I feel Im missing something?

Ok Im supose to call NVC at some point and get an Case number? What is this for?

I recall that it might be for calling the embassy and seeing if they recieved our case yet?

Ok Once the embassy has recieved our case, then can we immediatly call and scedule an interview?

Is there forms she needs to file before we even SCHEDULE the interview?

Do you scedule the interview before even sceduling the medical?

Can someone tell me the exact steps I should take from right now, I am at the just recieved the NOA2 email stage.. I need to know the process exactly step by step up to being in my babehs arms.

The steps to me right now are:

1. Prepare papers make copies of everything I have currently for my fiancee.

2. Recieve NOA 2 in mail, copy.. add to package and send off package.

3.

(ok thats all I got, I think its call NVC, get case number.. then call embassy every once in a while until they say they have it, then scedule interview, and then get the medical appointment, medical-interview-Visa.. and then she had to take some sort of seminar?? then she can come here?.... whew.. is that it.. lay it out for me.. please....

Oh and generally how long is it from this point until shes here in my arms? 2 months?

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

Here's my list:

1) 2 days after NOA2, starting calling NVC: 603-334-0700 press 1 then 5.

2) Once NVC has your case, they assign a new case #. Ask them what date they sent your file to the embassy & also for the NVC case #.

3) Once you know the date NVC sent off the file, track it at DHL's website: http://track.dhl-usa.com/TrackByRef.asp?nav=TrackByRef For the reference code, enter EXP 10 JUL 2009A (adjust using dates just before the date NVC told you), with a shipping range of that day to a few days later (July 13 - July 14 worked for the example above). Look for shipments to your beneficiary's embassy.

4) To find out if the embassy processed the packet, call the Dept of State before 5pm: 202-663-1225 press 1 then 0

5) You can also call the DoS to find out your interview date once you believe the embassy has scheduled it.

No need to make an apointment for the medical. She can do that anytime before the interview after you receive the case number. After she has her interview and receives her visa she will attend the CFO seminar..no big deal but she has to attend. 2 months? She may be. Depends on how soon they can schedule her interview. As long as everything is in order and they don't ask for additional documentation 2 months isn't out of the question. Could be sooner. Good luck.

Not sure about Manila but in Moscow, the US Embassy has all of their interview appointments viewable on-line. We saw when ours was scheduled and within three days she received the packet of information and documents. The Embassy schedules the interview (we can rescedule for later if needed) on their own.
