Welcome back, agnar! :star:

Any folder you use will just be thrown out by USCIS. Just punch two holes at the top of your documents and put in ACCO fasteners, cover letter on top.

So will this be the "official" September I-751 filing thread?

Yep! I'm back in September to play the CIS game where you can win fabulous prizes like a fast approval and a new permanent GC....Of course, you can also "lose" too and be stuck in the hamster wheel forever!! :jest: (Okay, it just will feel like forever!)

There is folders with ACCO fasteners on top, I found it at STAPLES, called " STAPLES CLASSIFICATION FOLDERS 2partitions,6fasteners" they also have 1partition, 4 fasteners. its only(!) around $20. 5 folders in a packet.

if you were living around me I would give you one free, I purchased that and used only 2 of it, one for USCIS,one for my own copies.

still 3 left over.

anyway it looks good and organized, you can either divide your documents to the sections, say banking financials on one part, housing leases on other part, pics mails invitation on different part etc, or you can use only 2 sections, I put my cover letter the first section, and all my documents on other section, and copies of pictures at the back of folder.

I am trying to upload the pics below as attachments ,lets see if it's gonna work, if so check out the pics.

I transfered my pics to my mac book, there is a program called Iphoto, after selecting pics in whatever order you want, program makes picture books, albums out of it..

but anyway if you just color photocopy 2 pics on the same page ,it'll be the same thing.

You dont need to send all 7500 pics:)) loll

I just used 5-6 for each year with family and friens, so it was like 15-20pics in total with family and friends

(I wrote little notes under every copies of pics about when, where it's taken and who r the people in the pics)

also I added another 15 pics from our wedding ceramony and reception, in case immigration officer has no access to aos file,I thought it'll be good idea to send some wedding pics as well..

so all together I send 30-40 pics ,and it was like 15 standart A4 page at the and of my file.

hope this gives you an idea:)

Don't you add a nice cover letter to your file that explaining the documents you included and in what order?

- as for taxes,I think Joint tax return transcripts from IRS sufficient and what they r looking for.

what is the other taxes you including, IRS transcripts suppose to be good enough.

- you dont need to put passport copies, but if you want it's ok.

I actually did the same thing only instead of passport I put marriage certificate.

- behind the font/back side of green card copy ,add driver licence or state ID copies of both of yours ,on the same page showing confirming your residence address.

- as you know evidences should cover the span of your marriage , so that as for each type of utility bills and bank statements it's good to put at least 2 copies for each year 2007-2008-2009) say 6 chase statements for 3 years, 6 other bank statements for 3 years, 6 electricity bills for 3 years etc.

- also make sure that bank statement copies are complete statements not just the front pages.

- you can always add the front pages of seperate utility or cell phone bills as well, even though seperate names on documents,it still confirms your residence address, in that case highlight the name and address.

- and do not forget to make your own copies of all the documents you r sending in,this way incase of RFE you will know what exactly you already submitted.

good luck
