we recieved our noa1 yesterday, the notice date is 01/14/09, i tried to enter the receipt number EAC09102***** to check status online but everytime the result says

I think mine took a week, but you can call USCIS to ensure everything was ok. Also, the case number they printed on the back of my check was off by one digit and when I checked the online system I got the same message you got. I called USCIS and found out I had the wrong number.

We didn't saw our case online for a month until our transfers.

Most of Nov filers frm VSC didn't catch up with the Case status online until our cases are transfered to CSC.

Just be patient. It'll show up soon.

theres nothing wrong just give it some days till they update them system and ya will be able to see the status and theres another good way just sign up for an account on USCIS and add your case # to where it says portfolio ya will be able to keep an eye on the updates which ppl call it here touches good luck

theres nothing wrong just give it some days till they update them system and ya will be able to see the status and theres another good way just sign up for an account on USCIS and add your case # to where it says portfolio ya will be able to keep an eye on the updates which ppl call it here touches good luck

You can't add a portfolio if your case is not seen online. I tried that option, but it didn't work when our case is not yet seen online.

The online update system is unreliable, and the USCIS staff is the first to acknowledge it. The blame lies somewhere in their system, not with anyone who answers the phone. Perhaps they could charge a fee to anyone wanting online updates, and use the money to get the thing fixed.

Don''t feel alone. The same happened with mine and I submitted mine in December. It still doesn't show up. I called USCIS and they said that in Nov they received a lot of the I-129F and just stopped inputing them in the system. Great.............

Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)
