Pre-paid and post paid cellphones as well as prepaid cards wont work when calling 19091017878.You need to use either PLDT and Smart postpaid landline with IDD(Int'l Direct Dial) to call the call center.Or you can go to the nearest PLDT Business Center and place your call there.Or much better if your fiance will be the one to call.

Starting March 19, 2008, those applying for K-1, K-2, K-3 and K-4 visas who have been notified by the Embassy to prepare for their interview can call 1-909-101-7878 (within the Philippines) to schedule an interview appointment at the U.S. Embassy. The cost of the 909 service is U.S. $0.98 per minute; this amount will be charged to your telephone bill.

Applicants, Agents or Petitioners calling from within the United States will also be able to use this service by calling 1-888-877-9888. The cost of the 888 service from the United States is a U.S. $18 PIN payable using a Visa or MasterCard once you have called into the service.

Try the PLDT landline because those cellphone networks weren't really open for this kind of calls esp. the toll free number.

Be ready with your MNL case number they would ask you about it.

Good luck!!!

hi gurl it would be better if you ask your fiance to call. i called the call center while ago using the 1-888 number (I bought a PIN) because I could not get through the 1-909 number and I talked with an agent. At first he was nice and all. He even verified some info then when he found out that I'm the beneficiary he told me to wait for 2 weeks blah blah blah. Most pinays in VJ have the same experience also so if you let your fiance call them maybe you can get your interview date. I gave the PIN to my fiance and he will call on Monday. Hopefully we can get a sched soon. God bless!
