I am going to be adventerous and sent the experimental IV fee bill. I called NVC this morning and it has been generated (02/11/2008). I have spent a lot of time working on the bill to make it look as though the printer at NVC pulled the paper too far and cut off the barcode at the bottom with the mystery number. my husband and I figure the worst that could happen is they will send it back and we really wont lose any time (if we wait for the bill that could take 2 weeks). it will go out today and we should here next tuesday  .

I will keep you posted as to when it is accepted (only possitive thoughts and lots of prayers :innocent: )

 Thank you.

It is desperation that makes me do this...I miss my husband and really want us to spend our first wedding anniversary together.

I have to say that James shortcuts have been wonderful, my husband still has not received the DS-3032 so we would still be waiting to move to the next step.

I have to thank you to James and to Chris P.

I'm great fan of James as well :) . NVC takes their time before they really mail documents. Yesterday our DS230 was generated and probably my husband wouldn't receive it until end of February. Instead, thank you James again, he is sending it today.

Good luck with speeding rest of your journey. We have to spent our second anniversary apart and it was very sad day.

I wish you being together on your first.

Just occurred to me... hope you increased the IV fee to $400! The IV fee shortcut needs updating for at least that.

Actually, trailmix is the one who talked me into posting the IV fee bill. She went through a lot hell with NVC back in October/November.

Actually, trailmix is the one who talked me into posting the IV fee bill. She went through a lot hell with NVC back in October/November.

Then I must thank both of you. I was aware of the fee increase and changed the IV bill to to also reflect that.

I started to work on this last week when I called NVC and they told me the I-864 had been mailed(still not recieved by me) and that the IV fee bill would be sent this week (I asked them what paperwork they had mailed me...they volunteered the information)I printed the bill with 02/11/2008 and low and behold that is the date it was generated.

so now to wait the long week for the next update to the automated phone system :clock: .

i really hope this works for you! my husband won't even try the shortcuts for the AOS fee bill. we used JSC for the DS3032 and although it worked (we wrote the case number at the top of the page), he would rather wait for the other forms to arrive in the mail instead of generating barcodes. so at this point, our AOS fee bill is sitting in his mailbox in the US while he has been holidaying here in singapore!!!

They actually do not even send you a blank I-864 or a blank DS-230!

They just send a cover letter directing you to download the forms from their website (really!) and the barcoded coversheet to use to return the form to with supporting documents back to them.

So, while I respect your decision to wait for the forms from NVC through the mail, you really aren't waiting for much and should at least get the forms signed and filled out before you get the instructions from NVC, because they aren't going to send you the actual forms.
