yayyyy! Congrats!

I'm starting to think that those who get the Asian lady are having good luck!

Me too. Ahmed said the 'yellow-hair lady' was the only other one doing interviews today and she denied everyone who had the misfortune to meet her. Bless their hearts, I hope they get another chance.

A little update on the specifics of his interview, in case anyone else is getting ready to run the gauntlet. Ahmed said the interview only lasted about 10 minutes and she asked him:

When did you meet her?

Where did you meet her?

What is her age?

What are her parents' names?

What are her siblings' names?

His own age?

If he has ever left Morocco?

When will your fiancee come back to Morocco?

She asked to see our photos, but none of the other stuff. I find it a little bittersweet because we worked really hard putting together a very organized package of papers and evidence, but Im glad she didnt grill him either.

She also told him to hang on to his passport and they would call him to come get the visa. Is that normal? I thought they kept the passport until the visa was ready.

Nope, he'll keep the passport til they call him, then he'll bring it in and either wait or come back in a little while to pick up passport w/ visa in it!

I'm thinking the Asian lady got word we were talking smack about her so to mix it up a bit they have switched! I used to think the blonde was the nice one...

Again congrats! But that's really scary to hear that one person can just deny every single person they met that day. Was it arbitrary? Or did a lot of them just happen to have suspicious, weak cases?

timeline doesn't matter.
