My interview will be on Nov17 at the US embassy Manila, and I have read it in one of our member's timeline that she got a white slip because her fiancee's letter of intent was not notarized. Can anyone pls enlighten me up on this?

i haven't heard it before, that the letter of intent need to be notarized. ;) one thing im sure is the affidavit of support ;)

When i went to my scheduled interview last nov 6, the only notarized document that i had with me was the Affidavit of support (I-134),and it was the one that was taken by the pre screener and the consul together with my fiance's 2007 ITR.i bet it all depends with the consul.

My Fiancee just finished her interview and the only notarized document she carried with her was the Affidavit of Support.

August 18, 2008...............Check Cashed

August 20, 2008...............NOA1 Here we go! And now we wait and pray!

I've read of same case where she was asked for a notarized letter of intent, guess it's a case to case basis. So I had my fiance' notarized it, mine was not 'coz I forgot :lol: but wasn't asked from me. Won't hurt to have one.

Hi,

It was me whom the CO asked for a Notarized Letter of Intent to Marry from my Petitioner. Maybe she just wanted to make sure that my fiance (now my husband) still wanted to marry me 'coz he was not able to visit me in 2007.

We submitted our Letters of Intent along with the I-129F Package and they were not notarized. It is not really required. It was just my case.

during my interview, my Co ddnt ask me the letter of intent to marry, besides i dont have it with me,

may i say its case to case basis, but to be sure just bring notarized one, if you want to make sure. Goodluck!!!
