Doesn't look good for UK right now.

Wayne Rooney is a doubt for the World Cup after fracturing a metatarsal bone in his right foot during Manchester United's game against Chelsea.

The fears over Rooney were made worse when Roeder revealed concerns about Owen after the striker came on for 30 minutes at St Andrews, his first appearance since breaking his foot at Spurs on New Year's Eve.

After Owen limped off at the final whistle, Roeder said: "He had the best part of half an hour and when he came in afterwards he was a little bit concerned. He wasn't quite 100% happy with it.

Hopefully the US will do well, we got to the quarterfinals in 2002. The fiance and I had a bet of porn starring the wonderous Tera Patrick riding :D on who would get further in The Cup (England or the US) that year. He won but on points. If Rooney isn't fit by the time the games begin, the scales may have been tipped in my favour this time. Is Terry going to be fit by June?

Brazil were way and above any other team out there during the last world cup. Even the final was a breeze for them.

I hope England wins - but they seem to develop a 'losers mentality' after a certain point in the competition. They seem to prefer to play it safe and never seem to be as aggressive as the other team - if they need a draw to win a match, they always play to draw, never to win.

Rooney is a chopf!ck

http://tinyurl.com/qvttn

England midfielder Steven Gerrard said it would be "impossible" for England to succeed in this summer's World Cup without striker Wayne Rooney.

Former England boss Sir Bobby Robson said England's World Cup chances would be seriously affected if Rooney were to miss all or part of the campaign.

Is Terry going to be fit by June?

http://tinyurl.com/pu9td

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said after the match that Terry had taken a kick to the shin but it was not serious.

"Wayne Rooney's tackle on John Terry was a very nasty one but he will have 10 stitches and be ready in one week," said Mourinho.
