What are some interview questions that might be asked?

What types of questions do they ask at the interview? My guy lives in England and I live in the U.S.A. I want to know the types of questions that they might ask about me so I can be sure he knows the answers. We are still learning about which other everyday!

Also, how long do you need to be engaged before starting the visa process? We are not engaged yet but seriously talking about it. He is coming to visit me in June and we have discussed getting officialy engaged then. He has already asked me to marry him and I have said "yes"! We will probably start the visa process while he is visiting me in June.

Do I have to be interviewed also? How much is this whole visa thing going to cost us? I have no idea what the costs are and I would appreciate it if someone could tell me the costs.

Thanks!

Not sure about the questions as yet , but the filing fees total around $765.00 ...........

GBP.435.00 depending where you exchange your money, and thats not counting medical exam or passport photos, or copies of evidence like marriage certs and such. I,m only just beginning the application process myself. And thats if your doing it all yourself , costs of an immigration lawyer will of course add $$$$ to your application. But in saying all that , you have come to the right place for information , all the people in this site have the information and the experience to guide you in the right place or forum.

Good Luck

If you go to the reviews for United Kingdom you will be able to see peoples actual experiences with the London Consulate http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php

Not sure about the info regarding costs for the G325A, from what i read on the USCIS site the cost of filing this form is free , and also information on the police background check, the fee is 10 GBP....and as far as i can see from my local regional police office it can take 40 days to recieve a report from them .

Thanks everyone for your replies! You have all been so helpful! My man has asked me over the phone to marry him and I have said "yes"! He is planning to officially propose on one knee when he gets here in June! He told me to tell my friends to go buy themselves some hats! He says the women always wear fancy hats to weddings in England! I am hoping that we will first get married in America once he is here and then later repeat the wedding for his family and friends in England later on! We do not have an official date yet! I haven't told my family yet! I have decided to tell them all on the 4th of July when Ross is here with me!

If the visa people do ask us when we got in engaged, do we tell them about getting engaged over the phone (the date of the phone call) or tell them the date when he officially proposes in person to me?
