Are you (Youness) actually the USC petitioner or the Moroccan beneficiary?

You said in your first post that the ex contacted the consulate just a few days ago trying to keep the petition alive. How do you know this? Is one of you still in contact with her?

If the ex-fianceé (USC) happened to have visited again after the canceled interview -- oh, let's say last April -- the consulate will know it, so be prepared to tell the truth and explain everything to their satisfaction. Also, assume that DOS will talk with the ex-fiancée.

There are major timeline issues here. Just prepare yourself.

Well, before we jump to any conclusions; it could be possible that the OP is not posting about her own pregnancy in that thread, but rather, just asking about a scenario in which the USC is pregnant and the fiancee is from a country like Morocco.

OP, I wish you the best of luck in your visa process!

well as i said before he wrote the consulate telling them she is just a friend of family and him too so he could get info from her and still can get info from her ,coz he had her cancel his petition and things ..and yeah she has been to Morocco sometime after 30 Jan (interview date) but he already said she is a friend now so its supposed to be ok i guess...and how do ya think the consulate would know she came back to Morocco after cancelling things ??????????and DOS means what ??

He told the consulate that the woman had previously petitioned for him, and who was supposedly his fiancee, was 'just a friend of the family'...?

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

It is very easy for DOS (the Department of State) to know that your fiancé's ex went back to Morocco in April. They have her Social Security number, all her contact information from when she filed before. Her passport was scanned when she traveled. All of that info is on file. And it's very possible that she registered her trip with the Department of State before she went, for safety reasons and to make it easier for her family to contact her or vice versa if necessary. I did. If she did register with them, she would have given an address where she was staying (presumably with him, as a "friend of the family"). DOS does home visits, not often for Morocco, apparently, but they do. If something strikes them as odd, they will look into it.

Of course it is possible that they filed, then broke up and canceled the January interview, he let it go and she tried to patch things by visiting him (in his home?) in April, it didn't work out, and so the two of you took your long-distance friendship to the next level, also in April. That can happen legitimately, of course, and it happens every day here in the USA. But the problem is you're dealing with a specific consulate that deals with fraud every day, more than many do. All of this is very likely to catch their eye. You mentioned that you plan to wait until after your next visit to file. That's a good idea, as it will increase the time frame of your relationship.

One more thing. As your fiancé is still in contact with his ex in some capacity, he may wish to ask her to do some housekeeping on her VJ profile, if she's willing to. There is some evidence that USCIS and DOS visit VJ from time to time.

This is strong, I know, and I'm sorry, but you see I have an idea of what you might be headed for, and getting what you want is going to take work and preparation on your part and on your fiancé's part.

Younes,

Please hear out what fellow VJ'ers are telling you. It's not what you want to hear, but it's very true. This situation sounds a bit awkward and strickingly familiar (I'll leave it at that!). Didn't you mention that the interview was then again rescheduled in March 2007? Even with another visit under your belt in Novemeber of this year, it may be tough to get approval based on this timeline.

I am speaking from experience, when I tell you you need to wait a year from the time the first K1 petition is closed out minimum, regardless of how many visits. There is no rush really take ur time. Although based on your other topic, that would explain the rush.

Bottom line you have a lot of red flags and that's being honest. First you need to write down this timeline and make sense of it so you can address with your petition. Most importantly, please please be open to all the advice given.

Either way you decide good luck with your choices.

Last two cents, Mona has a valid point about having the ex update profile. From here and the "other site." It doesn't look good for your case.

best of luck!

For me, there is a considerable credibility issue on so many levels with this post/person. Simply put, I believe this story is chock full of misrepresentations. S/he is on a fishing expedition, imo.

well i been reading every information i could find on any emmigration websites, because seems no one before have faced our problem,my fiance and I are afraid of his old affair with an american citizen...because to cut it short he was engaged to her and she filled out for him a k1 visa to come to the states, her case has been approved by USCIS and his papers have been sent to the US consulate in his country, but for whatever reasons they broke up and things just did not go well between them,he wrote the consulate cancelling his appointment date for the interview one day before interview that she was supposed to be at 30 january 2007,i think she did the same but just a week ago she also wrote the consulate telling them they re together coz she was trying to make up and correct stuff and just work things out etc ,he did not want to go to interview and he has never been interviewed at the office,he also had her cancel his petition at USCIS ,she said she did but who knows we are nbot sure and we cant make sure ,last time he checked his case on USCIS its just showing what time they have been approved the case .....NOW i have been with him there and we spent a summer vacation together and im planning to go by November....i was a friend of him when he was already into the previous relationship ,it is more than one YEAR but i only have email since April 2007,coz we been talking only on Skype and not everyday just 2 to 4 times a week....WE are together now ,we have decided to apply a fiance visa for him to come here after i come back from there in November...I need to know if his past would catch up with us or nobody would care if he has been in an affair with another american citizen ,i am trying to get informations before i get on plane lol only 2 months ahead of me please if anyone can assist me i'd apperciate it .

THANKS for the help!!

Younes,

thank you for posting the truth, it makes a big difference. Usually, this site is good for information but in MENA alot of us know each other personally and you know the pics are still here from before. I will give you that in that you came clean and that's a good thing.

About your girl now if you have told her 100% truth then it is between you and her to decide. Regarding what you should do, really take your time and wait a year if possible just so Immigration has solid proof that your relationship is legitimate and it won't be a mistake.

I hope you get the answers you need.

im a guy like any guy ..has been in a relationship and it failed ...and believe me folks i tried to get out my ex out of my life with less damage possible ..i took it slowly and easy ...i did something wrong as well thats true...but I NEVER said the expression "i love you" to her ...i tried to never make it ..i deared her and respected her ...i could not take her more than a friend...but to be more specefic ...i never rushed her to petition me ...its just like she was in a hurry

Pardon my cynicism, but this sounds a lot like damage control in light of what has been mentioned about the possibility of your current fiancee coming to read VJ. I really find it hard to believe that a woman would be rushing to petition a foreign man who never said that he loved her and made it clear that he only wanted to be friends. I mean, come on, didn't you have to sign the petition too?

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard
