Affidavit of Support

I have a question about the affidavit of support, as far as when to provide it. I am wondering how many have had to provide this information during the interview process in Casa whether applying for the K1 or K3. I was under the impression it had to be given for the interview. And, I have also heard that the affidavit of support only had to be give along with the adjustment of status when applying for that. I have heard that during the initial interview, some co's have asked for it and some have not. Can you please tell me your experiences, or what information you have on this as far as when to submit the affidavit of support? Thanks!

They don't typically ask you for the Affidavit of Support at the US Embassy in Casa. It's rare with a CO ask for it when you are applying for a fiance petition. I don't know anybody that had to produce one in Casa, but you never know. So I would be prepared just incase.

The I-134 is "normally" required at K visa embassy interviews. The I-864 is required when you adjust status.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yes the I-134 is what I am referring to. I have heard that some co's ask for it and some do not. Just want to be prepared.

We didnt' have to show it. In fact, I had emailed the consulate before Ahmed's interview and they replied definitively that it was not required. I had Ahmed print out the email just in case they did ask. You should email them and ask! That way you won't have to prepare the forms if they don't want it.
